The Home Partnership Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to meet the housing needs of communities. Employers, private citizens, developers, local governments and other entities are encouraged to make charitable donations to support these efforts. Donations can take many forms and can be directed to help meet a variety of philanthropic objectives. The Home Partnership Foundation does not provide funding or services directly to people.
The Idaho Housing Housing Information Reference Center (HIRC) and the Housing Assistance Guide are great resources to identify community providers. The Idaho Community Foundation is proud to partner with other organizations to strengthen the work of non-profits, bring together community leaders, and celebrate philanthropy. Their focus is on areas where they can have the greatest impact. The Blaine County Housing Authority operates the Lift Tower Lodge motel for the benefit of the community.
This iconic motel has 14 rooms that offer temporary accommodation to 78 people, in addition to rooms donated to other non-profit organizations in the area. Individuals, groups, or organizations can create a community fund that benefits a specific Idaho community: a city, county, or other defined region. The Internal Revenue Service lags behind in processing and publishing applications from non-profit organizations, so the documents available may not be the most recent ones submitted by an organization. Nonprofit Explorer has organizations that apply for tax exemption in each of the 27 subsections of section 501 (c) of the tax code and that have filed Form 990, Form 990EZ or Form 990PF.
Nonprofit Explorer includes summary data for non-profit organization tax returns and full Form 990 documents, in PDF and digital formats. The Idaho Nonprofit Center is an invaluable resource for community organizations across the state.
